Kasegaon Education Society |
Transformation is at the core of Kasegaon Education Society,
A leading and prestigious educational organization in Western Maharashtra. The Society believes in the power of education to transform the individual and the nation.
Kasegaon Education Society was established in 1945 by Late Shri. Rajarambapu Patil, a leading statesman. Taking education to the grass root level is the need of the hour. Considering this, the society focused its attention on uplifting rural masses to a higher educational level. The Society started schools in the nearby villages and a hostel for backward class students at Kasegaon.
After an untimely demise of Shri. Rajarambapu Patil in 1984, his son Shri. Jayant Patil shouldered the responsibility of Kasegaon Education Society. Like his father, he entered public life through educational activities. Under his visionary leadership, the society diversified its activities and facilities and was in tune with the times. Today, the Society has 31 primary and secondary schools and 12 higher educational institutes under its roof. This includes three arts, commerce & science colleges, three information technology institutes and a pharmacy college. Success has been followed by awards and accolades. The Society has been conferred with prestigious awards like "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Dalmitra Sanstha Puraskar" and "State Award for Educational Institutes". Certificates of appreciation have been awarded by C-DAC & MKCL for its exemplary contribution towards computer literacy.
Kasegaon Education Society, in accordance with its commitment to social objectives, decided to set up a Management Institute at Pune The Oxford of the East.
The Society wants to encourage students from rural background to acquire higher education. The academic activities at R.I.B.M. are being looked after by a team of well-qualified, experienced & dedicated faculty members under the overall guidance of the Director. The Institute is located in the highly natural environment, which is eco-friendly, free from distractions.
